Barbara's Victorian Tea Rooms have been created to provide that very special mix of elegance and comfort, in a classic English setting. Our guests always remark how they feel completely re-juvenated after a visit to our Tea Rooms
"An escape from the real world", and "Like stepping into an Historic English Novel", to " This feels like the Britsh Embassy, right here in downtown Pittsburg!"
No-one is ever rushed, you are here to meet friends, relax, and enjoy your timeless experience. We have become the principal meeting place for a relaxing lunch, or to experience that special pleasure of English High Tea. Our famous hospitality awaits you!

We are a small, intimate establishment, and we do not overbook, or overfill. We are not a restaurant, we do not fry or grill! We are definitely NOT fast food! Our bywords are comfort, calm & courtesy.

We are a favorite with Ladies Groups who often hold their meetings in one area, and then retire to the private Library Dining Room, to partake of Afternoon High Tea with their own white-gloved, tail-coated Butler to explain all the history of English Afternoon Tea, and the nuances of etiquette from the 17th century to present day. This is a fascinating and memorable experience, not available anywhere else in East Texas. Please call Peter Jessop for details on this opportunity to experience English High Tea at its best on 903.767.2426.
